We offer a number of “off-the-shelf” experiences for groups that range from Interactive Demonstration Classes to Hands-On Classes to Culinary Challenges,
and are also happy to create customized programs.

Group classes are based on availability and offer a fun, interactive alternative to a banquet lunch or dinner.

 In order to book a private class:  We ask that one person must be responsible as the contact/coordinator and that an Agreement be on file with payment information for charges according to the private class cancellation policy:


Hands-on Classes
(Minimum buy-out of 8 guests – Maximum of 16) 
Duration:  Approx. 3 hours including time to eat

Complete hands-on “guided” classes that are a LOT of fun!  You will be hands-on in preparing the meal - from knife skills to being involved in creating the menu items – and then at the end of class you get to make a plate and enjoy it! You also get to take the recipes home so you can showoff to your family & friends!
$ 100 per person (+ 7% tax)

Interactive Demonstration Classes
(Minimum buy-out of 12 and Maximum of 24 guests) 
Duration:  Will depend on class topic

Groups will enjoy an interactive demonstration class where guests from the audience are invited to assist by doing the various preparations while the chef explains the “who/what/where/how/why” behind the recipe to the broader group.  We can not guarantee that everyone in the group will be able to be “hands-on” in preparing the meal however; we will prepare enough food for everyone to enjoy a generous sampling of the menu at the conclusion of the class. 

$ 70 per person (+ 7% tax)

 Low Country Group Cooking Experience 
(Minimum of 12 and Maximum of 24 guests)
Duration:  3-3 ½ hours including time to eat

Guests will learn about the cultural influences that have helped create the “Low Country” style of cuisine as they work in small groups to prepare a Low Country menu that is served buffet style. 

$ 150 per person (+ 7% tax and 22% server gratuity)

  • Includes a logo apron for guests to keep
  • Menu may include selections from the following:

Culinary Challenge Teambuilding Experience
(Minimum of 12 and Maximum of 30 guests) 
Duration:  Approx. 3 hours including time to eat

 Guests work in teams to create a delicious and creative buffet utilizing only a couple of “mystery ingredients”, anything from the common pantry, and endless creativity from their teammates! 
Teams will receive a Menu Item (entrée, side dish, salad, dessert, etc.), Cooking Technique (bake, roast, melt, whip, etc.) and a Mystery Ingredient to be included in the dish. 
Each team must work together, tapping into their well of creative juices as they have 1 ¼ hours to create a buffet dish to serve the entire group without the benefit of recipes
It’s a great way to have everyone interacting, pulling together as a unit and “thinking outside of the box.”

$195/person (+7%tax and 22% server gratuity) Brunch/Lunch/Dinner versions
$125/person (+7% tax and 22% server gratuity) Hors d’ oeuvres and Dessert versions

For safety purposes, alcohol consumption
is not permitted during hands-on classes

Wine, beer and cocktails can be a nice complement to a deliciously prepared meal, however, sharp knives and alcohol do not mix well!

Due to safety reasons we cannot allow alcohol during the cooking portion of class. This includes alcoholic beverages purchased separately in the bar prior to class.   
Many classes do have wine or another such beverage included at the end of the session for you to enjoy with your meal. Coffee and water are provided for your enjoyment during class.

Wine may be enjoyed during the Interactive Demonstration Classes:  If wine service is requested it will be charged based on consumption and a 22% gratuity will be added to the total bill.



 

 Private Class Cancellation Policy:

Private Classes can be canceled up to 2 weeks in advance with no penalty.  Cancellations made between 14 and 7 days in advance will be charged for 50% of the minimum charge or guaranteed amount.  Cancellation 7 days or less from the class date will result in a full charge for the buyout price, or minimum guarantee.  Final guarantee must be made 7 days in advance.  In the event that the final guarantee increases and the additional guests can be accommodated, you will be charged for the higher number at the per person price for the selected class.
