SAVANNAH, GA (May 31, 2007) – The Mansion on Forsyth Park, a AAA Four-Diamond Kessler Collection luxury property, is pleased to announce the appointment of David Sanchez as food and beverage director.

 

As food and beverage director, Sanchez is responsible for the daily operations and procedures of the property's food and beverage department, including the award-winning 700 Drayton restaurant, 700 Kitchen Cooking School, Casimir's Lounge, Carriage Wine Cellar and Bösendorfer Lounge.

 

Sanchez comes to the Mansion on Forsyth Park with over 17 years of extensive hotel and management experience. Most recently, he was executive assistant manager in the food and beverage division of The Ritz-Carlton Lodge, Reynolds Plantation in Georgia. There, he oversaw the entire $20 million food and beverage operation. Some of his accomplishments at the resort include increasing outlet revenues and profit, banquet profit, and Gallup scores.

 

Prior to that, he was the director of food and beverage at the Harrison Conference Center in Hilton, NY where he restructured all aspects of its food and beverage operations and was responsible for redeveloping the menus for the conference dining, coffee breaks and banquet department.

Featured in esteemed publications including Bon Appétit, Town & Country and The Robb Report, the Mansion on Forsyth Park opened in April 2005 as a new hotel built adjacent to a renovated 1888 mansion.
