Grand Bohemian Gallery at Mansion on Forsyth Park Presents Tiffani Taylor's New Works Art Exhibition
SAVANNAH, GA (October 4, 2007) – The Grand Bohemian Gallery, a Kessler Collection gallery located in the Mansion on Forsyth Park, welcomes Tiffani Taylor's newest collection entitled New Works. The exhibition will run from October 11 - November 11 and the gallery will also be hosting an exquisite wine reception on October 11 from 5 - 9 p.m.
Tiffani's New Works exhibit was inspired by her recent trip to the southwest and Savannah's own antebellum beauty. Being showcased at the exhibition are impressionistic snapshots of Savannah's icons, including the Cathedral, Forsyth Fountain, Savannah Squares, narrative paintings of horses and portraiture.
The art exhibition opening on October 11 runs in conjunction with the new Savannah Fine Arts Dealer Association's first-ever Fine Art Trolley Hop, of which the Grand Bohemian Gallery is a participating member. The Grand Bohemian Gallery is one of six fine art galleries in Savannah that comprises the group.
About the Artist
Tiffani Taylor works with acrylic, collaged imagery, 24k gold leaf and calligraphy to develop her themes of love and the individual spirit. She is well-known for intricate, layered floral compositions on sheet music, note cards, unusual paper and books. Tiffani typically prepares her canvas by tossing coffee at it, using the caffeinated patterns as a base for her mixed-media paintings. She then adds layers of collage, acrylic paint and liquid gold leaf to create the floral compositions.
Originally from Ogden, Utah, Taylor moved to Savannah in 1998 to attend the Savannah College of Art and Design on a prestigious Presidential Scholarship. In 2002, she graduated as the valedictorian of her class, earning a bachelor's degree in painting. She continued her studies at SCAD, earning a master's degree in art history in 2003 before launching her career as a full-time artist.
Today, she is a successful mural painter, who has earned commissions in Savannah and across the country. She has painted murals locally for Goodwill Industries, Union Mission and the Open Arms Home for Medically Fragile Children. She also enjoys a successful career as a potter, with original designs on display at various museums in the southeast.

Gallery hours at Mansion on Forsyth Park are: Monday 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.; Tuesday through Saturday 10:00 am - 9 p.m. and Sunday, 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. Valet parking is available.
